The Gemini receiver delivers an enhanced watching experience and a voice activated remote control powered by Google Assistant. If connected to a 4K TV, the device detects it and will allow you to watch in 4K when available.
You’ll also have access to the Google Play Store to browse and add popular streaming apps. Add apps to your Gemini device
Heads up: Google Account required to access Google Play Store, Google Assistant, and Google Photos. Third party apps require separate subscriptions/login to access their content.

Troubleshoot your Gemini device
If you experience buffering or pixelation while watching TV, restarting your Gemini device may fix the issue. To restart your device:
- Press and release the red reset button on the side of the device.
- It will automatically restart and only takes a few moments.
