When God gives His holy laws at Mt. Sinai, the moral standard they reveal works like a mirror to show the sin within every human heart and drive people to realize that their only hope is in the coming Deliverer.

The Law

As God delivers His people from slavery, He demonstrates that He alone is God. During the tenth plague, the only way to escape death points to a future deliverance of a world in bondage to sin and death.

Deliverance

In a judgement of floodwaters, God provides one way of escape for all who believe. Years later, in a divine test with Abraham, a striking picture is painted of a future substitute who will give His life for the world.

Provision

A loving relationship with God is broken when Adam and Eve sin. God, however, promises to send a deliverer who will pay the ultimate price to restore the broken relationship between God and mankind.
