Find out how to pay your DIRECTV bill online and update your automatic bill pay information.


View bill
  1. Go to Billing & Payments.
  2. You’ll see your current balance, payment due date and the amount of the last payment received.
  3. Select View Bill to review up to 24 months of recent bills.
Make payment online
  1. Go to Billing & Payments.
  2. Enter the desired amount for your payment.
  3. Select either Checking account or Credit Card for payment method.
    • For Checking – enter your bank’s routing number and checking account number.
    • For Credit Card – use an existing card on file or select Use another credit/debit card.
  4. Review your information and select Pay Bill to complete.

Tip: Check the Recent Activity section for any recent account activity.

Update autopay and papaerless billing settings
  1. Go to Billing & Payments.
  2. Select Settings > Update payment details.
  3. Update your desired payment method.
  4. Select Update to complete.

Note: Your newly selected payment method should take effect on your next bill. Changing your payment method may also affect your selected autopay date.


Account access & balance info:

  • For your protection and privacy, only the account owner can view and pay bills online at directv.com.
  • If your current balance doesn’t display online, check back. It takes a few days from the billing period close date before details are available online.

Didn't get service via your home internet connection

Want to update your payment information with a new card number, revise expiration date, or update your address? Follow the steps below:


Update payment info
  1. Go to Account Overview > Billing & Payments.
  2. Select Payment methods.
    • You may update your payment method and billing address under the Update payment method page.
      Note: You can use your debit or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover).
    • Alternatively, you may select PayPal as a payment method.
  3. Once done, select save.

Good to know: Your monthly bill date is auto assigned and cannot be changed. Select Payment history to view your payment history.

  1. Go to Billing & Payments.
  2. You’ll see your current balance, payment due date and the amount of the last payment received.
  3. Select View Bill to review up to 24 months of recent bills.
Pay via Amazon Fire TV

If you subscribed to DIRECTV via Amazon Fire TV, follow the instructions below on how to update your payment method:

  1. Sign into your account at Amazon.com.
  2. In the top right corner click Hello, (Your Name) Accounts & Lists.
  3. Then select Your Payments.
  4. From there you may add, remove, or select a card as the Default Payment Method.

Pay via Roku

If you subscribed to DIRECTV via Roku, follow the instructions below on how to update your payment method:

  1. Sign into your account at my.roku.com.
  2. Click Update under Payment method.
  3. Enter new credit card and/or billing address, click Save.
