Get help with DIRECTV error codes 620-625
Learn how to fix a Video Connection Lost error associated with codes 620, 621, 622, 623, 624, or 625 on your DIRECTV Genie and Gemini devices.
What causes these errors?
If you see Video Connection Lost or error codes 620, 621, 622, 623, 624, or 625 on your TV screen, one of your DIRECTV receivers has lost connection.
Here's what to do
Follow the prompts on your TV screen to begin troubleshooting. These tips include:
- Checking the connecting cables on your Genie Mini or Gemini receiver(s) for a tight fit.
- On your main Genie receiver, press and release the red button quickly to restart receivers. Heads up: your service will be temporarily interrupted during restart.
- Reset your Genie Mini or Gemini receiver(s) by pressing the red reset button.
Check the Main Receiver
- Find your Main Receiver. Make sure its cables are tightly connected. It may be in a different room.
- Press the red reset button to restart – it will either be on the front panel or right-hand side of the receiver.
