3rd party app content carousels will now be available on DIRECTV devices. The “Continue Watching: My Apps” carousel allows you to resume app content from a carousel accessed via the “Home Tab”. The “My Apps” carousel shows trending content across some of the most popular streaming apps.


  1. Simply download the app and install it on the DIRECTV device.
  2. Sign into the app using your apps login credentials.
  3. And start watching content.
  4. If you have already completed the above steps, all you need to do is launch the app on the device.

You can discover app content in a variety of locations on the Home Page:

  • My Apps: Continue Watching – Jump back in to content you are watching across apps
  • My Apps – Discover trending content across the most popular apps

Many of the most popular apps are supported in our app carousels, from Max, Disney+, Netflix, and Peacock. We will be expanding support to many other apps in the future. So, Keep an eye out!


Most apps supported are video streaming services, but music and gaming apps may also be supported in the future.
 


Yes, you can! There are options within the overflow (…) menu remote control button to perform these functions.

  • My Apps: Continue Watching – Remove content tiles
  • My Apps – Ability to pin an app to the front portion of the carousel
