Add apps to your DIRECTV device
Use your device to get your favorite entertainment apps all in one place.
DETAILED STEPSYour DIRECTV device includes preloaded apps like Max, NETFLIX, Pandora, and more. But if you don’t see what you want, you can add your own. Choose from video, music, and gaming apps. Here’s how:
- Press the APPS or Diamond button on your DIRECTV STREAM remote.
- Go to the Google PlayTM store.
- Sign in to your Google account. If you’re already signed in, you won’t have to do it again.
- Search for the app you want and download it.
