  • Can I use the Slimline 5 LNB for International Programming?
    I am asking if for WorldDirect International programming, can I use the Reverse Band Slimline 5 Dish? Or can I only use the Slimline 3 Dish? I mean if I can use this LNB for International Programming now that we only need one Dish for it

  • Can’t access channel with keypad
    Hi All, recent issue just randomly appeared. I might be missing something. I am in Salt Lake City Utah. The Utah Jazz station is 683 . In the guide 683 is also an alternate broadcast for. I used to be able to go to 683 with the number pad on my remote then hit the channel up toggle to go to 683 to watch the Jazz channel. All of a sudden today I tried it and when I punch in 683 and hit channel up it skips to 684. The only way I can get to the jazz channel is through the menu. Not the end of the world except for my parents. They don’t navigate the menu system and rely on the basic number pad and channel up. any ideas? Did this recently change? Or am I missing something ?

    Wow! After all the bull crap thats been going on i thought about Americas past time, baseball. So i get home from work, a happy poor man workn hard. Turn on the tube. Guess what. Gotta pay. I get business. I get profit. I sure hope direct tv can make as much money as possible to attain world dominance. Direct tv. What will you do with it.. No bone from direct tv. I feel sorry for corporations like this. I and people like me that have little, find a way to give. God bless America.

  • Late fees for accounts that are a few days past due
    So we all know what the entire world is dealing with but you're still charging late fees for accounts that are a few days past due. In my case I'm in the military and I work everyday like millions of other people. I simply forgot and Directv is so greedy they just pulled another $4.25 out of me for nothing. I can't imagine someone else not in my shoes having to pay your (Edited per community guidelines) late charges. Shame on you. Thanks a lot Directv.

  • Why aren't there additional covid discounts?
    Most corporations are giving discounts during these trying times. I realize that AT&T has agreed to not terminate services. For some people TV is the only bridge to the outside world. I'm just amazed that when the entire country is mandated to stay home that AT&T wouldn't off some kind of discount during said isolation. When everyone goes back to work, slapping them with three months worth of bills will be devastating.

  • Closed captioning virtually non existent
    In reading through the forum posts, it seems as though only a few people have resolved this issue.  We, too, are having the problem where the closed captioning only prints a phrase every so often. As older adults with hearing loss, it's almost impossible to follow the plot in a show without it.  I may be looking in the wrong place but I see no posts since November 2018. Has someone figured out a way to "fix" this?  Any input would be greatly appreciated! As directv customers for 20+ years, disappointment doesn't even cover it.  The problem surfaced just about the time we received our first bill with AT&T's logo instead of dtv's. Is there any customer service left in this world?
