  • 771 on a legacy system in Phoenix
Its a house well-mounted SL3 dish which has worked perfectly for over 25 years. a multiswitch drives three different HR24 receivers. The dish is aligned nearly perfect with very high signal strength across the board.  The 771 is being triggered apparently by the 103 ca and cb signal being intermittent: on either page the strength bar can show 86 for a few seconds and then disappear for a few seconds.  Both channels display this behavior.  which certainly is the cause for the 771 fault.  Selecting a different sat 103 transponder fixes the intermittancy, but the transponder assignment wont lock - its always back on the faulty transponder 1 when you  return to the page. I've replaced the LNB with one I know works.  I have not moved/tweaked the dish yet, that's the next step.  What's happening here? it's also as if the 103 sat has moved....

  • Sudden unannounced change in my local channels
With no explanation at all, I no longer receive my local channels from Tucson AZ.  I've had these local channels for seven years.  Now I receive local channels from Phoenix, AZ.  I am told there is nothing to be done as I live in Pinal County, not Pima.  I am 15 minutes away from Tucson and 2 hours from Phoenix.  I am on the border of Pinal/Pima County and my address is a Tucson address.  They tell me there is nothing to be done because of my zip code.  Talked to 3 technicians.  Nothing can be done they tell me.  If indeed there is nothing to be done,  I think this is a very poor way to do business - no warning of the change.  I am cancelling if indeed there is nothing to be done.

  • Guide not working in Phoenix
It’s been over a week and the guide is still saying to be announced on most channels.  Any update on when this will be fixed?  When I called I was told this was a known issue.

  • How get rid of old OTA channels?
When I'm traveling, I use an HR-24 and an AM-51 (am-21? whatever the box is that takes OTA channels and makes them available to the DVR).  As I move, I get different OTA channels.  But when I go into antenna setup and onto the "Edit off-air channels" page, all the previous (or a least a bunch of them) are still in there...  For example, if I'm in city X in Nevada, I may have a channel 3-1 from somewhere around there with a set of call letters.  I move to Phoenix, AZ, and I get new channels from the setup, and there may be a NEW 3-1 with call letters from Phoenix, but the OLD 3-1 from Nevada is still there.  So, I now have 2 3-1 channels and have to try to figure out which one is the working one...OR, I may NOT get a 3-1 in Phoenix, but the OLD one from Nevada is still in the list and I don't know if it's old or new...Rebooting everything doesn't appear to change it.  Nor does pressing "Remove All".  That takes off the selections, but doesn't get rid of the not-actually-there channels.I've resorted to checking them all, then viewing them and seeing WHICH ones say "loss of signal on off-air tuner" so I know they're not real, then going back and removing them from the Favorites.  It works, but it's clunky and inefficient...Is there something I'm not doing that should completely clear the list of ota channels so it can be populated with ONLY the real, actual ones from where I am at the moment?
