  • How to keep new shows but let old ones be deleted?
We're fairly new to DirecTV Stream.  We've had it for a few months now but this is the first time we're going want to handle some episodes of TV shows differently than the way we handle other episodes of the same shows. Apparently we can't keep more than 30 episodes of a TV show at a time.  We knew about the 9 months restriction when we signed up but no one told us that we could only keep 30 episodes of any particular show.  That's a problem for us so I'm trying to figure out how to do what we want to do. We want to keep all new "Law & Order" episodes for the full 9 months but we don't care if the old ones roll off.  L&O is streaming on at least 3 channels currently (BBC America, Sundance, & WE).  Each channel shows 3 or more episodes a week so we always have at least a dozen older reruns picked up by DirecTV Stream every week.  How can we save the new episodes that start this Thursday and not have them swept away by reruns? Is there a way to set up 2 sets of episodes for 1 show?  Then we could catch only new episodes in 1 set and then all of the reruns in the other set that could roll off as new reruns are rebroadcast?  Or, if we want to save the new episodes for the full 9 months, do we have to change it so that it only saves new episodes (& then we never get to rewatch old episodes, which we still enjoy)? Are there any other options? Thanks, GGuenth

  • Charged for service for two years after the service was cancelled
Att / Direct TV. debited my checking account for over 2 years after the service was cancelled.  Att confirmed my cancellation back in July 2019, and acknowledged that they continued debiting my account for a service that I had cancelled and was not receiving.  The total of the fraudulent billing was over $3000 and they claim that they are only willing to return $1000 of my money because it was "my job" to catch the fact that they continued to debit my account for something I was not receiving.  This is absurd.  I am trying to talk to someone about this dispute but the representative said that I can not call them and that they will contact me.  This is extremely bothersome to say the least.  Makes me question whether or not this is a company that I should be doing business with.

  • I would like a discount for not getting all Discovery+ shows
I would like to receive a discount on my bill due to the fact that several shows that my husband and I watch regularly will no longer be available with my current account. We live in the country and get our TV via Satellite feed.  I don't know about your streaming service but we cannot successfully stream other shows such as content available on demand.  Some of these tend to "buffer" and we have to wait for the show to catch up.  Most annoying.  I don't expect to have any better experience with discovery+ streaming. I will not be paying extra to get this new service.

  • When can I stream Fear The Walking Dead: Season 5?
I keep seeing commercials saying that Season 6 will air in a few weeks. I was hoping to be able to catch up on the series before then, but I only see Season 4 (from 2018) is available for streaming.Any word on when Season 5 will be made available?

  • Putting addition on house
I'm adding on to my house and wanting to put several TVs in the addition but need to know what cables to run. Do I run CAT5, coax or ethernet? I hear there are wireless receivers now, but not sure. I need to add 5 connections but will still have 3 connections in the existing part of my house. What is my best option?

  • Equip Update due to MPEG-2 phaseout?
Received letter stating my equipment needs updating to avoid service interruptions and to call 800-531-5000.  Was redirected to a customer service rep that after aprox 15min of trying to figure what i was talking about asked me for the initial phone number i called (800-531-5000) and was told the number is not a directv number and the letter is fraudulent and im lucky he was able to catch it before i fell for it.   Well,  i was sure that wasnt the case so i said thank you and hung up.    I guess my question is,   Is there a certain department to ask for when calling the 800 number and/or what do i say im calling about that they may understand?   My equipment is as followes.                 R16-300 dvr,   D12-700 receiver and a DRD435RH receiver.    3 receivers total.  I believe these are obsolete.  Any help or advise would greatly be appreciated.   Thank you for your time.
