  • ISO Big Button tv remote that works with Direct tv
    My mother's facility just switched to Direct TV but the remote is impossible for her to use.  She is 99 and has to go by touch and needs a very simple remote control.  Is there ANY manufacturer that provides a remote for seniors that works with Direct TV?

  • Can’t log in direct tv to pay bill
    I was able to log in up until about 3 weeks ago. I tried to log in to PAY MY BILL, and it said the info was wrong(which wasn’t!). Then it sends me to the AT&T site. I try to log in and it asks if I’m trying to log into the correct site. Seems pretty idiotic to me but I understand mistakes happen and programming isn’t always easy to get sorted. i don’t have the patience or free time to wait on hold for hours so if you want me to pay the bill, how about you don’t make it impossible!

  • How can I change my payment option for DIRECTV?
    The payment method I have normally used to pay my DirecTV bill every month is no longer valid .  This is due to a damaged chip necessitating a new card from the same company . The new card is different from the old card, in the last five digits. Hello, I have attempted on several occasions to change my "Card on File " by going to "My Account: My Profile " to make the change .  When I input the entire card number, along with Expiration Month and Year, with the Security Code, I get "Invalid credit card number or wrong card type".  This is highly likely if not impossible do the the fact that I have been making payments to others with the same card, with absolutely no problems.  I can even use the new card as payment, to DirecTv, if I do so without logging in . My Question:  Is there some magical, mystical way of changing my payment method, for DirecTV that would be acceptable to the AT&T Gods? Thank You.

  • An extortion scam to always bill for unreturned equipment
    Upon cancelling our service, I was told I'd have 21 days from the effective date of my cancellation to return my equipment. I was told that I'd be given a list of equipment to return within 24 hours of the termination of my service. After waiting 7 days with no list provided, we simply took *all* of our equipment- including remotes with batteries- to the UPS store, provided the account number, and shipped them. A few weeks later, we received a bill for "unreturned equipment." It has been impossible to get through to anyone from AT&T, and I'm curious to see if they're running a scam where they *always* bill people for equipment, whether it is returned or not. I have dated receipts and documents from DIRECTV and The UPS Store that prove I met the return terms, and plan on submitting a formal complaint to the BBB, but before doing so, I was wondering if anyone else has been scammed by AT&T?

  • Directv support when spouse is sick?
      Hello, Recently my grandmothers Directv receiver died.  I ran diagnostics check and her dtv hard drive failed.  She has the directv insurance and all that to get it fixed.   However when calling.  They wanted to talk to my grandfather.  It was setup in his name 12 years ago.  He suffers from Alzheimers.  She said he is in the late stages of Alzheimers.  He can barely speak, let alone comprehend what is asked of him.  She told them this, they seemed confused how to handle it.  Then hung up on her.   What can be done here?  We have no Directv.  We can't fix or even cancel the service because they must talk to my grandfather which is impossible.     Any help is appreciated.

  • Persistant 771 error code for 3 weeks.
    Only get a few channels functioning normally. No obvious pattern. For example can't get CNN-HD, ESPN, some local stations. Can pick up CNN International, occassionlly FOX and MSNBC Have tried all the usual fixes and reprogrammed set but to no avail. Find tech help on the phone impossible to get to.
