We have been a part of the nbc dispute.  You said we are allowed a one time price adjustment. But you must have it very hidden in your website on how to do it.  Direct Tv customer service has been very, very disappointing!  In May l needed help with billing issues and I finally gave up.  I have been getting charged $177 dollars  a month since then and I had been told numerous times during many phone calls, that I should receive information via email or calling back again to gain access to monthly discounts.  As I said I finally gave up🤯.  I certainly understand that with what is going on we need to have patience, but enough was enough.  So I never was given any discount options after being told numerous times there would be, and in all the years we have used direct tv we have never not been given some kind of monthly discount.  Also I guess the other thing that did not sit well with me, was how many times I was giving out my important private information.  It would be great to know this has been ACTUALITY read and acted upon.  Thanks

Yes I received an email stating that I would receive a 50% discount off my past due bill but when I call DirecTV about it they don't know nothing about it and the email says it's coming from AT&T and they gave me a number to call it's (Phone number hidden) is that a real number or scam thank you

Being a newbie to Directv I am not sure I should have joined the community of D. My issues :Jargon :   They  h54 reciever, is it a genie or a has been and is genie actually better type available?                 I didnt know that there was a wireless system.  ( I have 2 wired recievers & a wired DVR receiver )Another issue:When I was with Xfinity/Comcast I split the HDMI signal wirelessly to display on a 2nd TV in my patio area (primary viewing area) .  Well using IOGEAR GW3DHDkit with xfinity was great but some HDCP compliant crap with Directtv is causing it to fail only on certain channels (CNN was one example my wife wants in the sunroom).   This creates a $200 brick of equipment that worked fine with Comcast/Xfinity.So then I figure out / hear about this wireless genie thing and it might work for me.  Looks to me there is a wireless bridge that has to be installed, effectively creating an additional wireless network in my home.  Interference questions arise??in my now Directv convoluted mind....  Then a wireless genie needs to be installed @each TV.  I already know the IOGEAR equipment will fail (their tech support said it was a Directv issue). So do I buy this wireless bridge thingy and a wireless genie?  I just got installed on Sept 7 2019 so another concern is I am hearing that every time you make a change or add equipment to Directv they make you consign to another 2 year agreement.   If thats true I will run a 50ft high quality HDMI cable through my attic out to the patio. There is a question as to cost as well.  If I buy or rent these bridge/wireless devices.  Looks like they are available to buy, on amazon / craigslist but is there an additional monthly charge just bridging the signal.  Of course using the IOGEAR with Xfinity there was no additional cost because I was using third party components to just duplicate the living room tv to our sunroom. Your thoughts matter to me Thanx in advance for takin time to read through this  Todd Littleton, coI already have a century link 2.4ghz and 5 ghz wireless network in my home...  So is this wireless bridge going to create an additional wireless network in my home? My neighbors are already flooding most channels I see.  Can't imagine good performance by adding an addtional broadcasting network hidden or not.

We still watch SD, and do not have a DVR.  I have two questions:1) When we do the free upgrade to our equipment, will we be forced to pay extra since the equipment comes HD and DVR capable?  Or can we really just maintain our existing low level service at no extra cost? 2) If we were to switch to HD, or want to use the DVR, will we incur additional costs.  Thanks for any help!

Hi, We have an HR44 Genie DVR.  The Pause/Play/Forward/Reverse gray/black bar that you see on the screen when you say fast forward is at the bottom of the screen.  Is there a way to move it to the top???  I often record sporting events and sometimes want to fast forward through a game and only watch events when say the score changes.  Score is always displayed at the bottom of the screen but so is the default position of the above mentioned progress bar.  Even making it opaque, it is still hard to see through.  It would be better if it could be moved to say the top of the screen.  Is that possible???  My guess is no because I've walked through the Display menu and all other menus I could find that might be related and I found no such control.  But I thought I would ask here. Any way to move the Pause/Play/Forward/Reverse bar that is at the bottom of the screen to say the top of the screen so I could see the game score data hidden beneath that bar???  thanks

On the old Directv site you could get the My equipment list Which had all your equipment, Model numbers, serial numbers, and access card number. Now on the At&t site all of that is missing. Only a very abbreviated list. Even customer service can't access the complete listing.You used to be able to send a refresh signal to a specific receiver now you can only refresh ALL of your equipment at once.  By the way this doesn't work I tried it and one receiver refreshed and the other didn't.Is it possible to get the complete list from some hidden page?  Or has At&t made a complete mess of what was a complete and very functional web site?
