MySports from DIRECTV Available in 122 Markets, Including Entire Top 50

104 FOX Local Station Affiliates Added to MySports Since Jan. 14 Launch, with All Remaining FOX Affiliates to Join in Time for the Big Game on February 9.

DIRECTV’s ground-breaking MySports package, including 40 national sports and local broadcast channels, is now available in 122 Nielsen Designated Market Areas across the U.S. This rapid expansion, since launch just a few weeks ago, comes as an additional 104 FOX stations opt into the new service, making MySports the best place to watch pro football’s upcoming championship game.

In addition to including all Fox-owned and operated stations at launch, early and broad support from all of America’s largest broadcast station groups – including Cox Media Group, Gray TV, Nexstar, Scripps, Sinclair

and others – has now positioned DIRECTV to make MySports available nationally to all potential sports fans in time for the Big Game on FOX on February 9, the Daytona 500 on FOX on February 16, and the NBA All-Star Weekend on TNT and ESPN on February 14-16.

MySports initially rolled out to 24 Nielsen Media markets, including 16 of the top 20, starting Jan. 14. But today’s additions expand that reach by an additional 100 cities, and MySports is now available to sports fans in every top 50 market, with still more stations in more cities being added every day.

Some of the key new cities where MySports is now available include Denver, Cleveland, Sacramento, St. Louis, Charlotte, Pittsburgh, Portland, Baltimore, Indianapolis, Nashville, San Antonio, Columbus OH, Kansas City, Salt Lake City, Cincinnati, Greenville NC, West Palm Beach FL, Las Vegas, Oklahoma City, Norfolk VA, Harrisburg PA, Grand Rapids MI, Birmingham AL, Greensboro NC, Jacksonville FL, Albuquerque NM, Louisville KY, and New Orleans, among several others.

The Walt Disney Co. (ABC) and NBCUniversal (NBC) were already included in MySports with all their national sports channels and owned and operated local broadcast stations, and DIRECTV will continue to add additional ABC and NBC local station affiliates as their respective owners choose to be available through MySports, too.

Sports fans can stream MySports through the DIRECTV app on mobile devices or popular platforms like Roku, Amazon Fire, and Apple TV. MySports will also make it easier to catch every play through game-time notifications and the ability to watch now on live TV or later through unlimited cloud DVR.

At its introduction on Jan. 14, MySports was available exclusively to consumers in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, and the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as Atlanta, Austin, TX, Boston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Detroit, Fresno, Calif., Gainesville, Fla., Hartford-New Haven, Conn., Houston, Miami, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Orlando, Phoenix, Raleigh-Durham, San Diego, Seattle, Tampa-St. Petersburg, and Washington DC.

Sports channels immediately available through MySports include ACC Network, Big Ten Network, DIRECTV 4K Live, DIRECTV 4K Live 2, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNews, ESPNU, Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2, Golf Channel, SEC Network, and USA Network, among many, many others. Channels from each major professional sports league – NFL Network, NBA TV, NHL Network, and MLB Network – are all included at no additional cost. MySports also includes all the Warner Bros. Discovery sports networks, including TNT, TBS, and TruTV that will be televising games in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament coming up in March and April.

In addition, as with all DIRECTV packages, MySports customers also have access to the full lineup of MyFree DIRECTV ad-supported sports channels, including sports networks like ACC Digital Network, Big 12, Fight Network, Fuel TV, Origin Sports, Pickleball TV, Players TV, Sports Grid, Stadium Stream, Surfer TV, Swerve Combat, T2, The Jim Rome Show, TNA, Torque by History, Waypoint TV and Women’s Sports Network.

More networks, local stations and ESPN+, will be included in MySports at no extra cost in the near future. Additionally, DIRECTV also plans to offer local sports fans the option to add its unparalleled array of regional sports networks and team networks, including the recently announced Rangers Sports Network, as an add-on to MySports later this year.

Consumers who sign up online for the contract-free package now can receive MySports for $49.99 monthly for the first three months, a $20 monthly savings. After the free trial, it auto-renews monthly, and consumers can cancel anytime.
