DIRECTV to Offer Free Preview of MLS Season Pass Feb. 22 through March 1. DIRECTV for Business Remains The Exclusive Home of MLS Season Pass for Businesses.
DIRECTV and Apple have reached a new, multi-year agreement to make MLS Season Pass available to DIRECTV satellite and streaming consumers starting Feb. 22, timed to the kickoff of the 2025 MLS 30th season.
Starting today, DIRECTV residential streaming customers can sign up to watch MLS Season Pass for $14.99 a month through DIRECTV and watch games via DIRECTV or in the Apple TV app. DIRECTV Satellite customers can purchase the full season for $99.
Every game will be available to watch live in the DIRECTV interface on channels 480 through 495, similar to the viewing experience for other league packages today, or through the Apple TV app. Additionally, DIRECTV is making a free preview of MLS Season Pass available to all DIRECTV residential and commercial customers from Feb. 22 – March 1, after which those customers will be able to upgrade to MLS Season Pass through DIRECTV channels.

DIRECTV has recently grown its presence in MLS by sponsoring the league’s newest franchise, San Diego Football Club, as its inaugural front-of-kit partner. As part of this new agreement with Apple, SDFC fans will be able to keep up with all the action, starting with the first away game at the LA Galaxy on Feb. 23 and the first home game on March 1.
This agreement expands upon DIRECTV’s exclusive commercial rights to MLS Season Pass, which has been available to DIRECTV for BUSINESS’ vast network of more than 300,000 sports bars, restaurants, and other places soccer fans have gathered for the past two MLS seasons since it was announced in Feb. 2023. MLS Season Pass will also be on sale for commercial establishments starting today.
