DIRECTV is introducing its first-ever video service plan specifically designed to support over 1.5 million nonprofit organizations across the U.S.
This offer, delivered by DIRECTV FOR BUSINESSSM, comes at a critical time for nonprofits nationwide. In a recent study conducted by the Urban Institute, it was discovered that nonprofits have reported decreased donations since 2020. SEI examined the current trends and it seems that the downward trajectory is continuing. More than ever, nonprofits are looking for budget relief as their donations continue to be down year over year, in part, because of increased economic uncertainty across the U.S.
“At DIRECTV we care about the communities where our customers and employees live and work, which makes this the perfect opportunity to support local and national nonprofit organizations,” said Doug Eichler, Senior Vice President, DIRECTV Business Solutions.
Each of the 1.5 million active nonprofits currently registered as a 501(c)(3), including those with multiple locations, are eligible to sign-up through DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS directly or through an authorized re-sale partner. Through a multi-year service agreement, nonprofits will receive a significant discount on the BUSINESS ENTERTAINMENTTM PACK including over 100 channels (including news, sports and more).
DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS provides video service to more than 300,000 restaurants, hotels, retail shops and many other business types nationwide. Beyond traditional video services including coverage of Thursday Night Football. Learn more by calling (855) 796-7289.
