COZI TV, home to pop culture favorites and iconic off-network series like Frasier, Roseanne, and classics Little House on the Prairie and The Munsters, can now be seen on DIRECTV channel 80. The channel is owned and operated by NBCUniversal, part of Comcast Corp. (NASDAQ; CMCSA).
And beginning Oct. 3, quirky crime-solvers Bones and Monk join the COZI TV primetime slate.
“This is a big day for COZI TV,” said Meredith McGinn, NBCUniversal Local EVP of Diginets & Original Production. “We are thrilled to welcome America’s top satellite provider DIRECTV and its subscribers into our fun world of comfort television programming, complete with family-friendly entertainment available for all ages.”
DIRECTV customers can now access 24/7 programming of favorite comedy series airing on COZI TV, including The Nanny and 3rd Rock from the Sun. They can also enjoy popular dramas and action shows like Columbo and Murder, She Wrote. COZI TV joined DIRECTV STREAM and U-verse in May.
The addition of COZI TV to DIRECTV’s robust channel lineup follows the inclusion of GRIT, which features western films and TV series, and BOUNCE TV, targeted toward African Americans, ALLBLK NETWORK, with focus on Black entertainment and ACORN which features British programming.
COZI TV is part of DIRECTV CHOICE package and above.
