Who is hosting the 2025 Golden Globes?
Comedian Nikki Glaser will host the 2025 Golden Globes. Glaser will follow in the footsteps of Jo Koy, who last year was widely considered to have botched his performance as host after his jokes either fell flat or were deemed too offensive for the format.
Aside from hosting the event, Glaser, who went viral last year for her roast during Netflix’s The Roast of Tom Brady, is also a 2025 Golden Globe nominee for her 2024 standup special Someday You’ll Die.
Which Movies and TV Shows Got the Most Golden Globe Nominations in 2025?
In movies, Emilia Perez, starring Selena Gomez and Zoe Saldana, got the most nods, pulling in 10 nominations. The Brutalist received seven nods, and Conclave got six nominations.
The Bear, Hulu’s hit drama, earned five nominations, the most of any TV show this year, while Only Murders in the Building and Shogun received four each. It was a good year for FX and Hulu, it seems — and Selena Gomez!
