The Perfect Nanny (2001)

Nikki (Tracy Nelson) is a disturbed, suicidal young woman in a psychiatric hospital, but she pulls herself together via an obsession with romance novels. She wants her life to be like the fantasies of paperback pages, so on her release she becomes a nanny for the two children of wealthy Dr. Lewis (Bruce Boxleitner). She thinks love, happiness, prosperity and a welcoming family are all sure to come her way. However, when people start disappearing, Lewis begins to wonder about Nikki's past.
