Roll on Texas Moon (1946)

Cattle rancher Gabby Whittaker (George "Gabby" Hayes) is blamed for the murder of neighboring sheep rancher Matthew Delaney when he finds Delaney's body on the border between their spreads. Cattleman Roy Rogers (Roy Rogers) is sent to ease tensions between the two feuding ranches, and gains the confidence of Delaney's niece, Jill (Dale Evans), who has inherited his ranch. But her foreman, Steve Anders (Francis McDonald), aims to gain control of both ranches for himself.
