Arena (1953)

Rodeo star Hob Danvers (Gig Young) faces trouble with his wife, Ruth (Polly Bergen), who cannot stand the constant touring that his profession requires. When Hob shows up to his latest contest, he is dating groupie Sylvia (Barbara Lawrence). Ruth arrives to inform him that she wants a divorce if they cannot come to an understanding. Meanwhile, Hob's friend Lew (Henry Morgan) tries to remind him of the fleeting nature of stardom, as Lew, once a top rider, may be forced to become rodeo clown.
