DIRECTV STREAM is a subscription streaming service that lets you watch live TV from major broadcast and popular cable networks. Can I order pay-per-view sports events or rent or buy movies and shows with DIRECTV vs DIRECTV STREAM?
Customers connecting to DIRECTV via Satellite or via Internet, can use the DIRECTV remote control to order, rent, or buy movies as well as purchase pay-per-view events from your TV screen. Or you may call your DIRECTV customer representative to purchase.
Customers with DIRECTV STREAM access their TV programming through our DIRECTV App. In order to buy, rent, or purchase pay-per-view events an account would need to be established with that content provider directly. This can usually be done through their provider app or by establishing an account online.
Do DIRECTV STREAM and DIRECTV have the same channels?
DIRECTV STREAM and DIRECTV essentially have the same channels in terms of popularity. The difference is that DIRECTV STREAM packages cut out the filler channels.
